About me...

Born in 1966, I spent my youth on my parents' farm near Kerpen and animals were part of my life from an early age.
I live with my husband Uwe, who also works in photography, in Leverkusen. If time permits, my husband will be involved in almost all photo shoots.
Beautiful memories disappear so quickly from the head in hectic times. At first glance, photos don't seem that important, but at some point they will be the only memories that remain. Memories of beautiful moments and loved ones.
Now, in the sixth year, I'm more or less almost only behind the camera and like to think back on every shoot. I also have beautiful memories from the photos.
How else should I describe myself: straightforward, warm, creative, funny and especially sensitive. Because that is very important to me for photography. Through my job as Vet.med. I have contact with people and animals every day. This creates many situations in which empathy is very important.
I especially value the "togetherness" during a shoot. All active people should feel comfortable - because this is immediately noticeable in the photos.
I know exactly how it feels when the "model" feels uncomfortable, because I have been in front of the camera for many years as a hobby. That is why I attach particular importance to the "feel-good factor".
Sometimes I have a different "perspective" or "position" when taking pictures than other photographers, but the photos speak for themselves.

The possibility of capturing the moment in a picture fascinates me again and again. My main topic is people. Many of my pictures were first created in my imagination and sometimes turned into a real picture much later.
